Make Time on Your Side

March is here ALREADY! Time goes by so quickly and there is nothing you can do about it except to make each day count for something. Don’t let life pass you by. You can control how you spend your time!
Since March is just beginning lets start it off right. Why not make your time count towards your eternal self? Wasted time is something that you cannot get back. Yet time is so valuable to us. Life is precious, treat it that way. I am asking you, Christian women and men, to give this Christ-like challenge a try! It could change your relationship with God and the ones around you!
1.) Cleanse your home of all things you wouldn’t want Jesus to see if he walked into your house. Get rid of it! (bad/sinful movies, books, CDs etc.) You don’t want those influences/temptations readily available to you and your family.
2.) Make it a TOP PRIORITY not to say or think anything bad about anyone, either to their face or behind their backs. Remember; don’t try to remove the speck in your brother’s eye when you haven’t taken out the plank in your own. Instead, offer words of kindness and encouragement.
3.) Clean up your talk. (jokes, cursing etc.) Christian lives and behaviors are supposed to be their greatest witness. We are watched closely for hypocrisy by non-believers.
4.) Study your Bible, Christian novels, audio recordings or videos for a minimum of 60 minutes a day. It’s not that much time out of your day and it’ll change your life. Some people spend more time at the gym or getting dressed.
5.) Surround yourself with positiveness. Listen to uplifting Christian music, hang out with positive people who lift you up and encourage you, not discourage you, tape up or write encouraging Bible verses in places you see every day.
6.) Start witnessing to people. Whether it be family, friends, co-workers and or strangers on the street. Expanding the kingdom of heaven is our most important duty, time to step up to the plate Christians! Include in your prayers every night and morning for God to create opportunities for you to witness. You could also let your actions be your witness. Let people see these changes in you! They may ask why you’re so happy lately and that leaves the door wide open to tell them just how awesome God really is!
Do all of these things with a sense of urgency. The end is very near.
It is my hope that you will partake in this challenge and realize how important it is to not just say you’re a Christian but to live it in your day to day life and its entirety. When we say we are believers we automatically have everyone’s attention. We represent God and his kingdom and all of Christianity. Don’t be someone who misrepresents what we stand for!
Enjoy your day everyone! :)
Also feel free to email me your progress with this challenge or any testimonies you want to share!
