There really isn't anything better than fringe? Am I right? Today I am officially announcing the release of my Gypsy Fringe Scarf. This scarf is THE perfect accessory for transitioning from summer to fall or spring to summer. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
I have also published the pattern for this scarf. It is available for an instant download and is 50% off (no code needed).
Hello All! I am still alive and kickin' and I've got something very S P E C I A L for you but you hafta read my awesome review first.
I recently received a brand new pair of FRESHLY PICKED moccs and I just hafta tell the world all about them. I mean c'mon me have a pair of freshly picked moccs of my own?!?! I never thought the glorious day would come but these shoes are more than shoes. They are a part of someone's dream! Susan Peterson's dream. She is someone to watch because she's amazing, duh! Seriously though, this entire brand was built by her from the ground up! I mean how often does that happen? Susan believes in her product and it is so beyond obvious in the quality and she worked her tail off to get to where she is and she doesn't show any sign of slowing down and to top it all off, she's a momma!
These little shoes are a dream. I ordered them for my daughter and I had no question about sizing when ordering. There is a size chart on the website you can print off and use as a guide for your child's foot size. I mean... No brainer here.
So once you get your moccs in the mail then it's time to put them on your kiddo, yanno the fun stuff. You will notice that there is an elastic band around them that is totally genius (singing hallelujah songs) this elastic keeps the beautiful mocc on your child's foot it doesn't wiggle jiggle free (like U V W, can you tell I just read bedtime stories? Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom anyone?)
The leather is super soft but totally durable. I want a pair in every color. Oh, did I mention the colors? There are so many colors they are absolutely stunning. I had the hardest time picking out just one.
The customer service was amazing and super helpful. The Freshly Picked IG feed is my guilty pleasure when I cannot sleep late at night. (sorry Susan and gang I'm a guilty IG stalker) There are always people asking questions and each and every one of them are answered and they are so polite too.
My little Lydia Mae absolutely loves her moccs and I am going to get Wyatt a pair but don't tell my husband. I am all for saving a buck or two, so is my husband, and there are several other mocc shops that offer moccs at a cheaper price but Freshly Picked are the only ones for this household. I have seen photos from other shops and you can tell just by comparing photos that they will fail in comparison. Why fix something if it isn't broken? Freshly Picked definitely does not need fixin'.
I almost forgot to mention the new carryall bag line? I gotta get my hands on one of those too.
I feel like lately I've been reading and stumbling on things that are telling me to choose joy. When we let our circumstances define our mood and outcome we are letting the bad win and control us. It's hard but why let negativity infect us? Train your mind to see the good things. Positivity breeds positivity. Negativity breeds negativity. Life is so short. Filled with moments of beginnings and moments of endings. Making them count is the only choice we have. Seasons change just as our lives roll with the crashing tide. Sometimes calm sometimes violent but always beautiful. Never forget the moments of impact that change the tide in your life. It’s never too late to say I love you or I’ve missed you. Words are a reflection of our feelings so say what you mean and mean what you say. Regrets are silly and a waste of time. Fix what you can and leave what you can’t. Send people good thoughts, prayers and wishes when communication is something that can’t be done. And always remember that each moment gone becomes a memory. So make it a good one, the best you can, cause life is short it’s here and then it’s gone.
Howdy all! I hope everyone is doing fantastic. I know my blog has taken a back burner lately. Why? you ask. Because I've been so busy with my etsy shop. Hey guys!!! I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas and rang in the New Year with a bang! I just wanted to take a few minutes to feature some of my new items in my etsy shop, The Colt and Filly. Since the birth of my beautiful baby girl I have become quite girly in my craftiness. Here are some photos of the results! Enjoy and Have a great weekend. Remember all of these items are up for purchase on my etsy shop.
Happy Monday to all. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. As much as I tried to avoid it I ended up getting the dreaded summer cold. My husband had it and I took as much precaution as I could but I wasn't careful enough. Wyatt got it too but not nearly as badly as I or Jessie.
I was determined to have a good weekend though. Friday night we went to a cook out at a fabulous farm with a beautiful pond with a fountain and a summer kitchen that was fit for a king. It was a really great evening. Saturday we spent the day with my dad and that night we went to two festivals that were going on around us. The Annie Oakley festival and also the Gathering at the Garst. The Annie Oakley festival wasn't very much fun at all. There weren't many vendors and there weren't even very many people there. We had to pay to get in and it was not worth it. The Gathering at the Garst was incredible. I wish we would've went there first cause a lot of things were closed by the time we got there but it was still much more fun. Sunday we had a cookout at my dad's. My brother and his fiancé were there too. It was a busy weekend and full of lots of fun. Being sick sometimes is mind over matter. Wouldn't you know it though I did not take one picture. Sometimes I'd rather just live the moments than capture them.
Anywho, I'm still feeling a little sick but much better after a good nights sleep and a detox bath. Thank heavens. I baked a fabulous zucchini bread. I found the recipe from my pinterest. Here is the link. I hope you all enjoy it.
Shop #2 isn't a etsy shop it is a lia Sophia associate who will hook you up! click here Her name is Shala and tell her I sent ya!
Also, here is a link to Sierra's shop (the gal who I'm teaming up with for the Instagram giveaway) http://www.etsy.com/shop/NothingButGlisten she does beautiful jewelry and will also do custom orders! Don't forget to follow here Instagram so we can get our giveaway going. Anyone have any suggestions as to what they would like to see from The Paisley Girls in the giveaway?
That's all for now. I hope you all have a great week and enjoy your day!
