I made a few tweaks. Instead of plain wild rice I used Near East brand. I didn't use the bouillon cubes and just substituted the packet of seasoning that came with the rice. I didn't have fresh crimini mushroom on hand so I used canned. I also didn't have any spinach so I just didn't use any. I added cauliflower just cause. It would also be easy to make vegetarian. I have nothing negative to say about this recipe except for I scalded my mouth trying to scarf it down!
I pureed some for W.R. too. I couldn't shovel it to him fast enough! He ate 4 ounces of this stuff. Hubby had two bowls and requested it for his lunch tomorrow. I highly recommend making this for your family. Here are some photos of W.R. chowing down. Enjoy!
